Staff, 1970-77
Among the staff who taught at the school in these years were:
Most of the above teachers were engaged full-time, with a small number appointed on a part-time or temporary basis. Some teachers, having left the school, were reappointed later.
In addition to the above subjects, most Catholic members of staff had responsibilities for the spiritual and pastoral needs of the pupils who were in their form classes. Religious education was taught daily and prayers were said at the commencement and ending of the morning and afternoon sessions.

Mr R. Berken and Mr B. Clough held the distinction of having taught under all four of the school’s headteachers, namely, Mr Holmes, Mr Rocca, Mr McGawley and Mr Smith. Mr F. Evans, a pupil under Mr Holmes and Mr Rocca, also taught under Messrs Rocca, McGawley and Smith.
