Conclusion

St Gregory’s played a significant part in the history of Manchester education and its former pupils have played an important role in the life of Manchester and the wider world, and many continue to do so. The school as a whole was a vital and social intellectual force, which had a deep influence for good on all the boys who passed through it. Every old Gregorian, whether pupil or teacher, will have their own memories of their time and experiences at the school.
